We left our hosts - Petra and Richard who could not have been more warm and welcoming. Petra spoke English but she left for work early in the am so at breakfast Norbert spoke with Richard and I had the chance to see how much German I could understand. Richard's great love is sailing and they have done some amazing trips. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them

We discovered that our GPS considered any road not the Autobahn an "unpaved road" so we had to keep telling it that yes we wanted to travel unpaved roads. A few examples:
